In this work, we propose an algorithm for determining the economic well-being of the population. Economic well-being is decomposed into three parts: income, housing, and work. Based on the available statistical data, we have built the corresponding fuzzy inference system for each of the three components. Based on the results obtained, we have constructed a new fuzzy inference system that gives the level of economic well-being. In our research, we applied the Mamdani inference algorithm. We have built a rule base that describes the operation of the system, which consists of rules of the type "IF - THEN". After defuzzification, for which we used Centroid or Center of Gravity methods, we obtain the level of economic well-being of the population.
