The article is devoted to the analysis of various indicators affecting the well-being of the country's population. The article analyses how and by what criteria the international organization OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) determines the level of well-being of the population. Based on the available data of economic and social statistics, an analysis of how Ukrainians lived in 2020-2023 was carried out. Indicators that influence the level of well-being of the country's population are described in detail, namely: housing conditions, income, labor market, social life, education, environment, civic engagement, health, life satisfaction, safety, and work-life balance
